Sonora Winds is Tucson’s community wind ensemble and we are proud to present our final concert of our season in the beautiful Green Valley CPAC Community and Performing Arts Center.
We will feature a clarinet concerto performed by Sonora Winds founder and current Green Valley Concert Band music director, Dr. John Snavely (Crossover Concerto by clarinetist John Denman, played in memorium of Paula Fan) and audience favorites, including marches; an Irish jig; a tango; and selections from Pirates of the Caribbean, Carousel, West Side Story, and Elvis Presley. Sonora Winds is excited to share this fun-filled afternoon of band music with our friends and music lovers in the Green Valley area.
